Blue Eye & Butrint Tour from Saranda
The Blue Eye (Syri i Kaltër) is a karst spring of unreal blue rising from over 50 metres deep: the water is icy (10°C all year) but the sight is worth the trip. Butrint, a UNESCO site, is a Greco-Roman city suspended between lagoon and forest: theatre, baptistery and ancient walls.
The combined tour from Saranda joins both stops in a half or full day, with transfer, guide and visit times optimised to avoid peak crowds. Entrance fees generally not included (Blue Eye ~€0.5, Butrint ~€8).
